Storage layout tool
Shed Size Calculator: Plan Around What You Store
Build a simple row layout from measurements you confirm. The result is a required interior rectangle and common nominal footprints to investigate—not a promise that a product fits.

Method
Transparent rectangles, not hidden capacity rules
Items in the same row are placed side by side. Each row is as deep as its deepest item, and rows stack front to back. Aisles, work areas, and future storage count only when you add them as named rectangles. The calculator applies no automatic buffer and does not search for an optimal packing plan.
Candidate boundary
Why a nominal candidate remains unverified
The candidate list is a compact set of commonly offered US nominal footprints. A product name such as 8 × 10 describes an exterior class, not guaranteed usable interior space. Confirm the exact model’s documented interior, framing and projections before treating it as a fit.
